Our Work Displayed at the Christmas Lights Trail at Warwick Castle

We were asked by DesignMC to help refine the visuals for Warwick Castle's Christmas Light Trail - this included concept art and delivered storyboards to define how the trail visualisations would look.

Pre-visualisation can be a really helpful tool when pitching a big project like the Light trail because it defines the parameters of the project and gets the client and the team assigned on the project - all on the same page.

The brief was that the lights had to be projections and displayed on a large screen in the centre of the event. They had to be bright shimmering colours and be inspired by fireworks and tinsel as well as match the song chosen and over a quick turnaround. Below you can see a sneak peak at what our response was, after delivering a day early, we continued to work with Matt at DesignMC and had time to make any minor changes he had.

If you get a chance to see the lights, the artwork shown here is identical to the final work, which is not only a great achievement by all involved, but shows that our designs for how the show would look was attainable and clear, since no information was lost in the handover which we are very happy about!

As well as creating beautifully presented and realisable pre-vis, concept art boards and storyboards perfect for pitching and that the whole team can understand and execute, for such outdoor projections and screen events, we can also make exceptional visuals and animation that bring your event to the next level. For Warwick Castle we created beautiful shimmering and dancing light storyboards that the animation team could use as goal posts to make sure they created final work that the client was happy with. Although we didn't create the final projections and screen animations, we were honoured to be included in such an exciting project and look forward to working with Warwick Castle again soon.
